I always update this thing at the strangest times. Never for anything important.

My coach hates me quite a bit. I lost really bad to Bethel today because we had to switch up partners and these girls were über tall and equally nasty. Not fun. My loss to Weston pissed my coach off even moreso. Oh well. I mean I am extremely upset about it, but I'm happy that so many people showed up. I'm learning (slowly) to be able to play tennis in front of people and not screw up too much. Thanks to everyone that went though. Kickass.

Afterwards went to vent at Josh's with Collin and Jay. Sam and Michelle were there as well. Sam is a kickass kid, she makes me laugh. Yup. Haven't hung out with her in forever, we should again sometime. Josh has the most snacks in the entire world, and I got soo sick/fat from all of them, but who cares, it was completely worth it. It's always a good time over there. :)

This thing has turned into my thoughts seriously. It's like a freewrite here, which is why it isn't very well written. I should probably fix that, but I'm too lazy to.

I'm listening to "Wounded" by 3eb and it's such a fucking amazing song. Considering the subject matter, seriously, wow. Lyrically, wow. Musically, wow. Sorry.

The guy who put his hands on you
Has got nothing to do with me,
And the bruises that you feel will heal,
And I hope you'll come around
cause we're missing you
And you used to speak so easy,
Now you're afraid to talk to me
It's like walking with the wounded
Carrying that weight way too far
Concrete pulled you down so hard
Out there with the wounded

We're missing you...

Well I never claimed to understand what happens after dark
But my fingers catch the sparks at the thought of
Touching you
When you're wounded

Well let me break it down 'til I force the issue
We miss your face, you know I wish you
Would come back down to the Dalva bar,
you tell 'em, "that's just my battle scar"
I wanna kiss you
and knock 'em down like we used to,
You're the marigold
Till you're walking down shaking that ass again
And then you walk on baby, walk on, you walk on
On and on
You're an angel in the pit with her hands in the air,
and we're missing you

Now it's fall and your shoulders get tighter,
Nervous flicks on your lighter, boots
Your pissed off poets,
your women's groups
And the friends with you we should've known this fool,
well i guess we missed the mark
Still my fingers catch the sparks at the thought of
Them touching you
And I go wounded

Let me break it down 'til I force the issue
You never come around and you know we miss you
Well nobody took your pride away, I said
That's something people say
Back down the bully to the back of the bus,
Cause it's time for them to be scared of us
Till you're yellin' how we livin' cause you got the ball
Then you rock on baby, rock on, you rock on
On and on
You're a summer time hottie with your socks in the air
You're screamin' I don't care, baby I don't care NO!

You say you don't know
You say you don't know (you're the marigold)
All I know is we're missing you, you

You say you don't know
You say you don't know (you're the marigold)
All I know is we're missing you, you

Showed up
Showed up wounded
Showed up
Showed up wounded

And those are the lyrics.

Today is me and Mike's 10 month anniversary. Jesus! Haha. Honestly though, I'm so happy we've made it this far. I can't imagine being with anybody else. Mike, I love you sooo much, and these past 10 months have been amazing. I can't wait until you come home! Thank you for being you: for being my best friend, for opening my eyes to how beautiful the world can actually be, for understanding and loving me for who I really am. You are everything to me. You are the reason that I am. I love you babe :)

Okay that's all... sorry it wasn't well written, but this was done in about a good 3 minutes. I'll put something more intelligent later when my arm isn't all in a brace and I'm not all on NO SLEEP. Yes. None. I'm awake from the day before... go figure.

And I made 2nd honors somehow. Weeee.

Byebye.

Okay Toad's Place show = fucking great. I was all the way in the front for The Early November, and was absolutely going nuts. Me and this chick Amy were rocking out hardcore haha. She knew the bassist from this band, The Reunion Show, named Clarke. So we got to hang out with him for a while, definitely really cool/cute guy. Definitely a manwhore. He used to be in Count The Stars, before they broke up :( Actually, Adam from CTS is in TRS now as well. Cool stuff. Anywho...

Rachel^2 was too fun. We have confirmed the fact that Rachel Baxter is still, by far, our favorite.

Regardless, kick ass show.

School was gay. As always. Our match against Weston was rescheduled for tomorrow, and I don't really care anyway. It's not like I'm expecting a win. I just don't want any zeros on the board, so wish me luck with that. =
And I REALLY fucking hate Newtown. Check out this article from the Newtown Bee:

Girls Tennis -

A fitful start to the 2004 season (a loss to the top team in the South-West Conference and then a rain out) did not prevent the Newtown High School girls' tennis team from putting together a couple of impressive wins last week.

Easy 6-1 wins over Bunnell and New Fairfield last Thursday and Friday put the Lady Nighthawks at 2-1.

But as easy as it looked, the 'Hawks learned a little something about perseverance. In the win over Bunnell, the 'Hawks had to suffer through the wind, the shoddy court conditions, and a vocal Stratford crowd. In the win over New Fairfield, they had to suffer through the absences of some key players.

"We had a good match against Bunnell," said head coach Jean Kunkel. "The wind was a definite factor, three out of four courts were either missing or had broken center straps on the nets, and a very vocal home town crowd made the atmosphere trying for the girls."

Brittany Meier took the only loss on the afternoon (6-2, 6-2), but battled a top-notch opponent in Dina Cyfeku, who displayed a strong first serve and a punishing slice. Meier was in just about every point, but was unable to string enough winners together to get a set.

Lauren Nemeth and Tara Ryan took care of business at No. 2 and No. 3 singles and Michelle Serock finished things off at No. 4 singles.

Nemeth defeated Allison Faustini 6-1, 6-3. According to coach Kunkel, patience during some long rallies was a key for Nemeth, who really showcased her game. Ryan, who defeated Amanda Panitowski 6-1, 6-1, was consistent and limited her unforced errors. A tough serve and nice pace helped carry her through. And Serock battled through the toughest match of the afternoon, using some mental discipline to avoid distraction and defeat Vasilika Cyfeku 6-3, 5-7, 6-1.

The duo of Kim Allen and Jill Tanner made short work (6-1, 6-0) of Allison Orpilla and Erica Lecount at No. 1 doubles while Emily Fields and Ashley Gabor persevered through a 6-3, 6-4 win over Kristin Gayda and Katie Petrella at No. 2 doubles.

"Our first two doubles teams are really coming into their own," said coach Kunkel. "Both are very aggressive at the net and yield few second opportunities. I like the way these athletic teams cover the court and poach at the net. I expect great things from these two doubles teams."

With the light waning and the overall match already decided, Sarah Salbu and Stephanie Corleto worked through a 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 win over AnneMarie Kennedy and Amanda Greene to finish off the Lady Bulldogs.

Anybody that was there, will understand why I'm so fucking pissed off about this. I'll hold back on that for now, only because I'm tired.

It's 11:30PM now, and in a half hour, my it's lil sis' birthday :) Happy 16th, Anne Marie!

Wow... this vacation has actually been pretty righteous. For once I think I've seen everybody that I wanted to, I've lost just the right amount of brain cells, got sunburnt way too much (downer) but I still got some color (yay!), saw 3EB live last night.. aaah!

Honestly, that was such an amazing concert. I've never had the opportunity to be so close to a band that I actually care about. I absolutely lost it with some songs... I can't control myself at concerts haha I start jumping around and screaming out lyrics. Highlights = "Motorcycle Driveby", "I Want You", "How's it Gonna be", "God of Wine", and even though it isn't my favorite, "Semi-Charmed Life". The atmosphere was amazing, minus random parents and asshole liar guys that Rachel (whom I love dearly by the way) starts fights with. Overall a great night. Went to Wendy's afterward, ate in the Dogsled and solidified the reasons why I'm not allowed to eat in there ever (I'm messy with salt, sorry) and got dropped off at Kyle's for the remainder of his party. Fun shizzle.

But yea, today I'm going to Toad's Place with Rachel ^2 (Baxy included) to see LTJ and The Early November. Woot. Should be a good one, I'll write more later.
